Once A Soldier, Always A Soldier: – {Chapter-1} (Part-1) [Fictional Stories]

Given the fact that my cousin and I are senior police officers from India who work on INTERPOL and UNPF assignments, many other officers of the police, military and paramilitary forces have come into our life. Our most famous pastime is narrating stories to each other about our lives and life experiences.

The fact about the Indian Forces is that whenever a person is martyred, his or her soul always hangs around the place and warns the living soldiers about upcoming threats and strategies, which mostly include strategies which they personally followed during their service as a living being. A better way to summarise it as friendly ghost soldiers.

Okay, we will start of with the part-1 where we narrate our mass holiday. According to my cousin, a holiday or vacation does not just mean the visit to a tourist place or a resort or something like that. It involves voluntarily taking an assignment in a very dangerous area and assisting forces to get garbage cleared. My cousin is like that magical broom, who cleans out all the garbage involving terrorists, gangsters, international dons, and all high-profile criminals who are a threat to the world itself.

Our first posting was in North-East India. Over a span of 200 days, we were to take postings in 5 of the 7 Sister States of North-East India, where we had to show some rebels who was the boss. The rebels’ courage had grown exponentially and they would attack any security outpost at any point in time. It need not be narrated specifically but we ended up destroying multiple rebel groups in the area and had taken down tens of thousands of rebels. We confiscated their weapon supplies and burnt out all their narcotic plantations as financial resources for these rebels are obtained by the sale of illegal narcotics. All these things went on well and my cousin who was the commander of the police and paramilitary personnel treated them like his own children and made them courageous and motivated enough to shatter insurgency into pieces.

Nothing huge happened, except during the end of the assignment. We were serving our last posting in Nagaland state, where some tough rebels were at work. Their courage had grown exponentially and they would waste no opportunity in attacking military or paramilitary or police posts and convoys. Given the fact these rebel groups were doing it like a war, we had to stop them.

The rebel leader was said to be violent. That was not a matter of worry as our convoy had a violent commander. That was my cousin who said that a mouth breaking reply was the best for these rebels. When we decided a surgical strike on their 100 base camps, we made ourselves into a team of 30 each for each base camp. Each team had 10 police officers + 10 military officers + 10 paramilitary officers. Our convoy infiltrated the base camps which were inside forests and started our surgical strikes.

The dense forests were so difficult to infiltrate as there was thick vegetation along with many swamps. However, nothing was impossible as my cousin was there. We trekked to the camps which had approximately 1000+ members each and a lot of expensive equipment in each camp. The structure was such that the main camps were in the centre but many subsidiary camps surrounded the main camps in such a way that if we were detected, we could easily be stuck in a cross fire. The main camp was surrounded by the subsidiary camps in such a way that if we attacked the main camp, then the rebels from the subsidiary camp would converge towards the central camp and try to reinforce.

When we reached the main camp cluster, we saw the rebels happily dancing and having their evening snacks. Just to make their hot snacks even hotter, the Assault Team shot inside their mouths. The other rebels suddenly sounded the alarm and came to attack us. They tried their best, but our teams kept shooting with so much precision that every rebel was down within an hour. We achieved this easily by my cousin’s planning which said that everyone should aim their guns at the rebels and shoot only after locking their aims. The heavy class of the teams utilized grenade launchers like MGL M32 and Carl Gustof lauchers that took down many hundred rebels in 2 or 3 shots. All the main base camps were cleared and top targets were now blended with the mud.

Despite this early success and having killed infinitely more rebels than expected, everything was not okay. We had emptied most of our limited ammunition on these rebels, despite careful planning, the number of rebels needed to be killed left us with very little ammunition and we were now caught. We detected movements and intercepted communication which stated that multiple teams of people were coming towards us. At this point, we were pretty terrified and felt that death was approaching us. What we had promised while selecting the Khaki and Camo (Uniforms) was turning to manifest itself in the purest form. In the fear and extreme tiredness, we decided that we will stay quiet and not interact to confuse the upcoming rebel reinforcements. Calling for backup would be worse, as this was a secret mission.

Nevertheless, we conducted our prayer session where we prayed to our respective Gods and decided to fall asleep. Just as we fell asleep, all of us had a great dream. It was as if, a magical bowl of sugar wanted to rain down and sweeten the spice of the situation. In our dreams, two young men came and told us, “No worries children. I have been in this position; you will easily be able to capture them and escape. We all ambush very well so nothing is there to be afraid of.” We wondered who these men were and it turned out to be none other than two of the most celebrated heroes of the 1962 Indo-China War. They were Major Shaitan Singh and Captain Jaswant Singh Rawat, who had done the impossible during the war. During the war, Major Shaitan Singh along with his team of 120 soldiers ambushed and killed more than 17,000 Chinese PLA soldiers and left many others fatally injured. Captain Jaswant Singh Rawat had single-handedly killed more than 300 Chinese PLA soldiers and killed another 10 with just a Bayonet. It was due to the courage of Captain Jaswant Singh Rawat that China was unable to take away Arunachal Pradesh away from India.

Having gotten advice from these two great men, we decided to wake up then and there and called on the radio. “Stupid rebels, we want you, we will tear you into pieces when needed so do not worry.” We decided to stick to each other and when the rebels turned up, we killed each one of them with a single shot from our gun or a grenade. These rebels who were used to last minute preparation were getting shot down like anything. This was the first time in my life that I understood the Law of Gravitation and appreciated Sir Issac Newton for discovering this concept. Thanks to this, every rebel who came up to us, fell down!

Okay, now that we had killed all the rebel reinforcements, we decided that the lane was clear and were relieved more than anything. Suddenly as I walked 5 rebels attacked me and since I had no ammunition left, I used my Bayonet and slit their throats. I killed 4 of them when a rebel suddenly held my legs and told “Do not kill me sir, Leave me alone”. At this point I dragged him out of the forest cover to see his face properly. The 6:00 AM Sun shone brightly at the entry point next to the river. He was not even a man, just a 14-year-old boy who was crying out of extreme fear and confusion. When I was thinking about what could be done, my cousin yelled at me “I hate this, you are slower than the snails in the river while taking decisions”. Just stab that dog and throw him to the crocodiles in the river.” Hearing this, I told “No, I think we should give him a chance”. My cousin told me “How come you have gone back into your childhood? Are you playing good cop- bad cop? Once more time you do not follow orders, and continue this insubordination I will expel you from INTERPOL and UNPF and reduce you back to Sub-Inspector and keep you stationed in our village”. At this point, four things crossed my mind. I could be an obedient officer and respect my senior officer, or be a merciful human and lose my job. Otherwise, I could show mercy on one child and lose my job, after which I would be prevented from helping the many other children who are victims of crime and terrorism.

It was a very difficult and emotionally disturbing moment but I had to accept that in my line of work there is no such thing as mercy and there is only justice. My mercy could be brighter than the Sun shining above, but justice would be much brighter that that. Here justice meant taking that boy’s life. Just as I thought of what could be done, that boy suddenly withdrew his revolver and told me “sir, you are very kind. However, if I die, then the world will be an amazing place” after which he shot himself. I regretted not having confiscated his gun before but my cousin pulled me by my collar saying “Walk fast or you know me. Just leave it”

Okay, more than that emotional ending of the mission, the silver lining was the silver lining. We were invited to the Indian Army base camp in Assam state and were given a proper meal and made to rest in a beautiful bed. When I slept, Major Shaitan Singh and Captain Jaswant Singh Rawat came in my dreams and told me “You did a great job, you fought the rebels very nicely and were also ready to show mercy on that boy. Despite the uncontrollable part of the situation, you still were an amazing officer from all aspects.” Let us meet once again sometime. We will help you put down not only rebels but also the underworlds and other criminals like you did before in the assignment. All the best, saying which they left.”

We woke up the next day to leave Assam state for our new assignment in Kashmir state. We will see more in Part-2.

SHE MEANT NO HARM (Part-3): – {Fictional Horror Story}

The operation was almost finishing. Given the contacts that my politician friends their kids had, there was no way that a single criminal could escape. Everyone who was a participant in this underworld across the world was arrested and the only head don who could have surrendered, was totally unaware of the meaning of the word “surrender”.

The boys in my team told my cousin. “DCP uncle, sadly that fellow has no idea about what we say. People who do not understand words should be taught by actions”. My cousin exclaimed that it was a very correct statement and that nothing other than an encounter should be done on the head don.

We took a flight back to India and reached his mansion. Just as we encountered all his bodyguards, he was all alone. He just smiled at us and told us;

“There are 36 gift boxes for you, my friends. Take one each. It contains cash worth USD 2 Million Dollars and 1 Kilogram of Gold and Diamond jewellery. Along with it, there are 3 keys inside every gift box, that operate one off-road car, one muscle car and one supercar. Please take it and let me go.

However, we decided to do something different. Our entire team started hitting him really hard and scratching him like small kids. He was so terrified that he took his Cadillac SUV and drove away in full speed. He could not escape so easily as my politician friends’ children each had a supercar like a Ferrari or Lamborghini. They all drove behind the head don and blocked him. Having nowhere to go, the don started laughing very loudly out of madness and started telling us as to how children are the future of any nation and about how Indian people do business all over the world. My cousin and I reached the spot and my cousin told, “Wow kids, you did an awesome job. You not only caught him from escaping but have turned him into a professor of Indian Affairs”.

When he received a mega punch from my cousin, he started telling us about his traumatising childhood and poverty around him, hoping that it would attract some mercy. However, when it comes to us police officers, we go by the definition of the word ‘criminal’ given in our law book and if someone meets the definition of the word, we bring them to justice immediately. Absolutely no excuses would melt our heart at any cost and we were focused on bringing him to justice.

Instead of placing him in prison, we took him on a vacation to Bulgaria. We booked into a resort in Golden Sands where we knew that she was waiting to give justice. It was 3:00 AM in the night, when the Samodiva whispered to us, “Where is he? I am quite hungry”. We chuckled and whispered to her “He is in room 150, go swallow him.”

She said “No, I will not swallow him so fast. I will bite him and give him a slow death. He deserves nothing less than that”.

We stayed up the whole night chuckling as we listened to him screaming and wailing in pain. The Samodiva was the best person to handle this. The housekeeping staff came and asked us as to what was happening, to which we told “That friend of ours consumed a high quantity of alcoholic beverages and he is so intoxicated that he is screaming. We apologise for the inconvenience and also for the disturbance. He will not shut up till tomorrow morning”.

At around 6:00 AM, the Samodiva came and told us. “You guys are the best, you helped me take down that evil fellow. Thank You so much and goodbye, we will meet again soon, I will take your leave now”. We too said goodbye to the Samodiva and promised to help if anything wnt wrong.

Before we checked out of our hotel rooms, we inspected the room 150 to find nothing but his expensive belongings. All expensive belongings found were handed over to the INTERPOL and UNPOL offices and the operation was successfully completed. There were some more dons who came to attack, but the organisations took down 1000+ dons across the world once again.

My message to all criminals is that, you may escape sometimes because of your influential contacts. When some influential contacts are there on our side, they will help us take you down for sure. Police Officers and Politicians and Celebrities and basically the general public hunt for criminals. Either one or more of us will definitely take you criminals down.

SHE MEANT NO HARM (Part-2): -[Fictional Stories]

INITIAL DISCLAIMER :- THIS STORY CONTAINS THEMES THAT SOME READERS MAY FIND DISTURBING. VIEWER DISCREATION IS ADVICED

In part 1, we had punched the drug duo so much that they started telling us everything. Their most atrocious acts included :-

  1. Drug smuggling across the globe
  2. Massive human trafficking and child trafficking.
  3. Organ trade :- Which involved taking major organs such as Heart, Kidneys and Lungs off of “useless” victims, incapable of being traded as slaves.
  4. Many more that are either too graphic to describe in the story or too lengthy or both.

The point was that we had these demons in our hands and the time had come for a massive exorcism. We made them give every single detail of their crime and all their contacts. They had contacts in almost every country in the world, predominantly Europe, India, USA and Australia. We informed police teams from all these countries, who joined us on the operation.

Sometimes, high ranking officials were involved and famous celebrities were involved. However, the children of our politician friends had so many more, and could throw an UNO game reverse card with no difficulty at all.

We came back to Golden Sands and saw that a huge gang had been discussing something. We knew that they were the suspects and ended up having them arrested or encountered. However, a problem soon arose as the leader of that gang had escaped. We were too tired to chase after him and came back to our rooms in the police station. Just as we slept, a familiar girl came and told us “Don’t worry boys, I caught him already”.

We suddenly woke up and were happy to see the Samodiva come to our assistance. She told that the gang leader had overdosed on an alcoholic beverage and came to the Samodiva as she sang her song. She wasted no time in grabbing him and tearing him into pieces. Next day, we went to the spot only to find a bottle and an expensive watch in the sands and nothing more. My team pretended like we did not know anything and thus were happy that a major heap of garbage was dumped.

The next day, we visited the city of Istanbul in Turkey. There were many trucks full of young children being shipped here and a hospital where a lot of medical tourists came for organ transplants. What could not go unnoticed is that there were young children working odd jobs with only one eye and sometimes they would hold their abdomen and hips and sigh a lot. This clearly indicated an organ trafficking scheme. I informed the Istanbul Police Headquarters about this and they came with their team. The 2 teams raided the hospital to be instantly rained with gunfire. Given the fact that we were encounter specialists backed by political support, we fired back on them and had some of them arrested.

The children were given medical care and sent back to their respective countries of South Asia and Africa. My politician friends decided to arrange maximum possible resources for the victims and decided to support the INTERPOL operation.

Given the fact that reinforcements came very fast, an INTERPOL and UNPOL team was sent to every single continent to assist with the operation. These bad guys were falling down and their massive empire was now going downhill. This large underworld groups consisting of 100+ smaller groups was crashing. It is common for us to encounter large numbers. Be it 100 or 1000 or 10000 or even 100000, we always win. The fact is that out of all the people present on the planet, more than 99.99% are good people whereas less than 0.01% people are bad. However, bad people are always shown on the news thus confusing the general public.

Okay fine, enough of theory. We shall catch up in part-3 where we give the head don of this entire organisation an opportunity to surrender but as usual the head don cannot even ………………………………..

SHE MEANT NO HARM (Part-1): – [Fictional Stories]

The team of 35 officers had landed in Sofia city and had made a few arrests and many other encounters in the city. Thanks to these arrests and encounters, we had provoked the drug duo who sent hitmen in search of us. In the name of courage and coolness whoever came to fight, we put them to a burial there itself right.

We were staying in a resort in Golden Sands, on the pretext of being holiday makers. However, we kept a note on all the drug peddlers who came and understood the movement of the duo. We were given orders to catch them alive and not just shoot them.

It was 3:00 AM, a sleepless full moon night. Suddenly a dog from our K-9 started barking loudly and growling at a girl in the distance. The girl was singing with a deep voice and shined in the dark. Then we all were afraid, as we knew that she was a Samodiva. A Samodiva is a spirit in Bulgaria that lures men by her singing, and when they are locked in a trans, she tortures them to death. Some Samodivas are friendly and not harmful. She suddenly came to us and stated, “There are 2 evil men who live nearby. They kidnap children and take their organs off. Then sell kids as slaves or for other dangerous things”

Hearing this, we knew that the only dangerous thing was the drug duo. Nobody else was dangerous. We promised the Samodiva and told her that we will catch those evil men and arrest them. She told us “Thank you boys, you are the only ones I can trust. Don’t worry as I am there to protect you”

We got to know about their hideout, which was a big mansion with 20 guards. Our team used silenced pistols and assault rifles to attack the guards and thus caught the duo alive without any problem. A team of 50 Bulgarian Police Officers raided the building and arrested many assistants and rescued all the kidnapped children. Even the doctors and medical staff working with them were arrested and crushed.

When we caught the duo and told them that their game was over, they started laughing and asked, can you do something actually? We got a tip off that a team of 30 hitmen were coming to free them. We pointed our guns stating that we will kill the duo before anything will happen. “Our team of 35 was ready to die for duty sake”. However, luck did not favour the duo and the hitmen were gunned down by a unit of the Bulgarian SOBT (Special Counter-Terrorist Unit) of the Bulgarian Law Enforcement. Later, the defeated and dejected looking duo came out with their heads pointing downwards.

My politician friend’s son punched the duo hard and hit them so much that they started explaining the difference between innocent people and criminals. My cousin then told the duo, that either they reveal all the details or they get a mega-punch from my cousin. They revealed a lot of things which will be revealed in Part-2.

SHE MEANT NO HARM (Introduction): – [Fictional Story]

My cousin and I had returned from Cape Verde, after foiling a capture and extortion attempt. Given our courage, my cousin again got promoted, to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and I got my first promotion, directly to Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP).

All our friends were happy with our promotion and we were happy to take on new cases. Our police seniors suggested to take on an INTERPOL operation that involved working with the Indian Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), a drug control unit. There was a huge deal of drugs going on and we had to stop it. My cousin kept a track on all drug peddlers in the city, and by surprise, we officers would take down drug peddlers. A group of teenagers acted as decoys and helped us police officers do it. One of my politician friend’s son, called many drug lords for a party on pretext of celebrating his birthday and then had all of us in vantage positions. All those fools showed up only to fall in his web and be eaten by us spiders (police officers). He too was fighting crime with his political power and was really good at befriending criminals and taking them down. Thanks to his efforts, crime rates decreased a lot.

We thanked the politician’s son for his efforts in this particular operation. He said that he was more than happy to arrest drug dealers and used his influence to help rehabilitate drug addicted and suicidal teenagers around the city. He requested my cousin to catch the main drug distributor and his teammate in Bulgaria.

He asked his father (our politician friend) to have a meeting with senior officials and dispatch us for the attack on the cartel in Bulgaria. We got the permission and our team of 30 officers got ready to go for the mission. That boy was so enthusiastic, that he offered to come as a decoy. My cousin denied stating that it is not safe for him. He stated that, given that he had a bit of experience with guns, so he decided to accompany us for the mission. He used his influence with high ranking officials to allow us to carry guns and bulletproof vests and helmets for the mission. It was a team of 30 officers with 6 young boys. We left for Bulgaria.

We all went to Sofia city, the capital city of Bulgaria. We had talks with Bulgarian Police Officers, who said that the drug duo had a lot of influence. However, we told them not to worry and the politician friend’s son promised that everything is safe. The Bulgarian Police was also ready for the operation and we decided to fight this drug dealer ring and put down this business.

Let us start the story from Part-1, where a supposedly evil spirit turns out to be our friend and guide.

I REALISED SOMETHING DEEP (Part-3): –

We Indian Forces got a call stating that the terrorists had left the country, having taken away many boats along with a few luxury boats and a few hostages. They were there on the main island but had left after the Peacekeeping Forces had attacked many of them. A huge contingent of Indian, Chinese and Pakistani Navy and Army had gone behind them to track them down. The Air Force of these countries were also on their way to assist. The Paramilitary Forces of India had been stationed there for reinforcements and reconnaissance. However orders came for my convoy and my cousin’s convoy to reach a location very fast as rebel movement had been detected.

Given the fact that they still had some Anti-Aircraft Weapons. We could not risk asking helicopters and aircrafts by making them fly near them. My cousin ordered us to follow them using our boats and we followed them as ordered. We caught up with them in no time only to be rained  with fire. Given the fact that they had taken away cruise boats and Recreational Boats and hostages were with them, we could not even think of holding our guns in our hands and thus followed them. We were attempting to negotiate with them using our megaphone but that was a fruitless effort.

However, those small boats  drove away very fast as these rebels had custom fixed 4 outboard engines on one boat, giving them a leverage. I took a decision to sail at a very high speed but our outboard engines failed due to overheating and refused to start again. As we thought, all our boats failed and we were suddenly stranded, with our movements resting on the will of the ocean currents. To make matters worse, it started raining and it would get worse if our boats would fill up with water. We had life jackets but did not want to lose our equipment which we considered more precious than our lives

My cousin told us that we had done our best and that we should just send a distress call. I sent a distress call informing about the targets and the entire situation. Suddenly, I heard gun shots and found myself to be caught in a cross fire. There was heavy fire exchange between a convoy of a Pakistan Army boat and a few rebel boats. My reaction now was again “AYYO”. Hearing this, my cousin reprimanded me asking, how come you are saying “AYYO AYYO AYYO” all the time? Take your gun and shoot. We took the opportunity to take revenge and fired on these rebels, while the Pakistan Army contingent sent another distress call. Within a few minutes, a Pakistan Army’s attack helicopter, assigned as a part of the UN missions had come. The Pakistani commander told us that he has already informed a Chinese Navy frigate and an Indian Navy frigate also. Given the distance, it is decided that the Pakistani attack helicopter will pull our 4 boats till the Chinese Frigate and then move us to the Indian Frigate, after which we can move to our base camp.

We were elated as the Pakistani Helicopter pulled our boats and then left us till the Chinese Frigate. We thanked the Pakistani soldiers and climbed on to the Chinese Frigate via the ladder put for us. Then we were surprised as we met the same set of commandos once again. They told us “You helped us and saved our lives, so it is our turn to help you and not to forget the treat you gave us”. They also informed us that a team of new rebels tried to come and reinforce attacks on Cape Verde, but a huge convoy of the Indian Forces comprising the Indian Army, the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force along with a huge convoy of paramilitary forces including the Indo-Tibet Border Police (ITBP) and the Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) along with the Indian Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) had foiled this deadly attack and that both Chinese and Pakistani contingents were proud of our work.

There was another incident in which an Indian Navy frigate had saved a few Pakistani boats from rebels. The Pakistani destroyer PNS Zulfiqar was hijacked by the rebels who were disguised as fishermen showing distress. When the Navy Officers of the Pakistan Navy went to help the fishermen, the fishermen took out guns all of a sudden and made the Pakistan Navy Officer hostage. They aimed to use the Pakistani destroyer to attack the other Chinese frigates and then take it to destroy the Bonga Oil Field an off shore oil field in the Nigerian Coast line using the Anti-Aircraft guns of the PNS Zulfiqar. Their very clever and precise plan was foiled as the Indian Destroyer INS Kolkata intercepted the PNS Zulfiqar at 3:00 AM the previous night and secretly sent Indian Marine Commandos (MARCOS) on the PNS Zulfiqar. They rebels were thus caught off guard.

Given the fact that the Indian Forces showed no discrimination on the field of allies and enemies, nobody suffered any casualties. The Indian Forces were a clear practical example of the phrase they are known by “The most professional force in the world”.

This was a proud moment, when we all got to our Indian Frigate where we saw the hostages safe and 54 top ranking and last remaining rebels caught. The hostages thanked us and were jumping with joy. Some of them were swimming around the Navy Frigates and enjoying. We suddenly became relatively childish and we would do this silly childish thing along with the hostages, that is to climb the Pakistani Army helicopter, then jump on the Indian frigate, parkour to the Chinese frigate and then jump into the water and repeat. We did this for almost an hour, when suddenly we got a call from the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) office asking what happened to the mission. We suddenly got back to our serious mode and gave a clear documentation and decided to not tell them about the 54 rebels who were in our custody onboard the Indian frigate.

The Chinese, Pakistani and Indian Forces were all elated to see what they always wanted. They saw the rebels defeated and dejected, and that was the biggest reward. The commanders consulted my cousin asking a very complicated question;
How do we arrest these rebels?
My cousin answered stating that keeping them in our respective countries’ prisons feeding them tasty food and running air conditioners would cost more than 3000 Dollars USD per person. He insisted that it is better that all of us withdraw our AK-47 rifles and shoot 1 bullet each at these 54 rebels, as the AK-47 bullets were the least expensive ones.
In order to make the play fair and make sure that nobody is left behind, he divided teams, 18 Indian Soldiers + 18 Pakistani Soldiers + 18 Chinese Soldiers all aimed their AK-47 rifles at these rebels, who begged us not to shoot, but we still shot them all.

People who don’t understand words should be taught lessons with actions. These rebels would never change in prison either. They would be imprisoned and soon be released as their team would initiate a hijacking or something like that. “An ounce of prevention is better than a ton of cure” is the words that my cousin always believed, thus initiating this decision. Besides, after this successful mission, we learnt that there is no real enmity between soldiers of different countries. We soldiers just follow orders. It would be nice if more such orders were given where we did not have to shoot each other but had to shoot one common enemy. These wars against terrorism are relatively better for humankind. Terrorism is one of the major problems that demands action. Unnecessary land grabbing and infiltrations are pointless. That day, as I returned to the base camp, I gazed at the stars in the sky, reflecting on all the scenes where I had killed non-uniformed members of the Pakistani and Chinese Forces while doing counter terror operations in the areas of North-East India, North-West India and most importantly the Red Corridor. I felt unhappy and wished that the orders were not given for these things. I wish that all countries stop sponsoring terrorism in any form and have one common goal. It is important to focus on economic development and human welfare. It has been many years since World War 2 was over. We had taken a decision then itself to focus only on development and not war. So let us continue following the same rules.

I REALISED SOMETHING DEEP (Part-2)

We had taken down rebels from the luxury hotel and the restaurants and a few other important places. Things were under our control to around 70%, but 30% was still left.

While returning to a base camp on our boat, we received a distress call. “Help help someone help. We are caught in the firing.” Judging by the accent, I knew it was someone from the Chinese Forces as a Contingent of the Chinese Navy Commandos were dispatched. My first reaction was “AYYO”, which in Indian language meant “DAMN”. Hearing this, My cousin ordered my team to get into a boat and reach the island from where the requests were coming. We reached there on our Yamaha Outboard boats and reached the island, with my team of 26 and another 40 members of the Indian Army. We got on that small remote island, which was a launchpad for the rebels and thus surrounded it from all sides. We suddenly realized that it was the main launchpad for these rebels and we were really elated about being lured into the best trap. Be it the hornet’s nest or the snake pit, we Indian Forces would fearlessly put our hands inside. Then we heard some noise. A rebel had cornered around 1000 Chinese Navy Commandos and was yelling “You dead, You dying, I have RPG, I have cannon”. All the while, the Chinese Navy commandos were shivering with fear. The problem is that despite the large number of Chinese Navy commandos with grade A equipment, Chinese Forces have a lack of coordination and communication between each other. Something that is strongly prevalent in the other forces, especially Indian Forces. Thus it was no surprise that these rebels, much inferior in number, strength and weapons had trapped these commandos so easily.

Just as he was about to press the lighter on the RPG, his head was popped by my SCAR L rifle. The other rebels saw the Indian Forces and tried to fire but were put down by the new SIG Sauer 716 and AK-203 Assault Rifles assigned to us. Just as we had cleared many rebels, I went to the Chinese Navy Commandos. Those young commandos suddenly started screaming and told us not to shoot. I told them that I was from the Indian Forces and had come after their distress call. Those commandos were happy to see me and thanked me.  I congratulated them for their courage and credited them with having guided us to the main launchpad and told them that due to their valor, we had put down the main launchpad of the rebels, where we seized a lot of deadly weapons, food and cash. We put down the 600 rebels on the island and told them that their massive set of groups and associate groups were 6 feet under the ground. I gave the rebel leader an opportunity to surrender but his ego caused him to die. I rescued the 1000 Chinese commandos and another 5000+ soldiers who were trapped there. I requested the Chinese Navy commandos not to rush to such areas as they could endanger their lives. Shocked by our care, they started apologizing for their rages with Indian Forces across the borders. Nevertheless, we consoled them stating that we only follow orders. Whether we are ordered to kill or rescue rests upon higher authorities, and we personally have no control. There is a lot beyond borders for us combat crew.

In order to sweeten a lot of spice, we decided to invite their entire convoy for a party this evening in the Indian base camp, where we were celebrating my cousin’s 35th birthday. I also mentioned that my cousin is a fan of Chinese food and that there would be a lot of it at the birthday party.

We had a party that evening, and it was a breath of fresh air, after a lot of fighting. The Chinese commander called his parents and told “You will not believe who saved us, it was the Indian Forces.” My cousin had a talk with the commander who told that he was from a Chinese Navy Frigate and that he had come to assist in the mission. My cousin offered another thing. He told that it would be better if Indian Peacekeepers could command the Chinese Forces given our better experience with the areas. He told me “Kid listen, they are smaller than you, take care of them and treat them well. Spoon feed them if needed, do not tease or bully them”. I accepted what he told and in my mind I was like “I am not like you, I will not bully them”.

We had a lot of talks as to how, cross border fighting and territory grabbing was pointless, and only this type of fighting, such as fighting rebels had at least a bit of purpose. We decided that we would collaborate on this and we would take down the remaining rebels very soon. We got the message from the other Chinese teams and other Indian teams that all islands were checked for rebels and every island was safe.

All the rebel launchpads were destroyed and all their boats were destroyed. They had  major weapons such as Anti-Aircraft Weapons and Mortars confiscated. Their grade A satellite communication equipment and other lavish things better than what we peacekeepers had was confiscated. We had taken the candies away from the babies and they had no choice but to surrender. These rebels, who were intoxicated by their pointless plans, were sailing towards the treacherous sea rocks that was very bad. Even if we tried negotiating with them, they would still not surrender.

Okay, let us see in Part 3 where they give us a tough challenge, which as usual is not tough at all anyway.

I REALISED SOMETHING DEEP (PART-1)

I was on a vacation with my family. It was a family reunion after I had returned from Nigeria after showing a few insurgents as to what “freedom and liberty” actually means and the difference between a “gang and platoon”.

However, as we expected my cousin and I got a call from the Foreign Affairs Minister’s office stating that, there was a terror attack in the island country of Cape Verde and that we Indian Forces had to assist the Indian contingents that had already reached the location.

My cousin told me, “come on boy, its time to knock some sense into them”. We took a flight of the Indian Air Force from Chennai to the island nation of Cape Verde.

Cape Verde is an island nation, comprising 10 islands, whose economy is dominated by the tourist sector mainly comprising holiday resorts and luxury residences. The country attracts many tourists from Western countries who are looking for inexpensive holiday destinations and for those who want to live a happily retired life far away from large chaotic and polluted cities.
Given the fact that such a small country with a lot of wealthy people could be the juicy sheep for the lions (cats actually), these insurgents decided to take over this island. Intelligence reports came soon stating that the rebels were from a group associated to the same group which we had destroyed a month ago in Nigeria and they had decided to revive their groups by selecting a soft target. What made us respond fast was that we feared a coup de’ tat on the Island Nation of Cape Verde. This would result in a collapsed government and the rebels would have access to more money and resources that could represent their evil and selfish interests in international forums.

When we were on board our flight, we got some threats over the satellite phone, where the rebels stated “we are dangerous, we will make this country our territory, you will lose, we are 2000 and 4000 rebels. An officer of our team was suddenly alarmed, but my cousin said “laugh it off kid”, you know very well that these foolish rebels have no better pastime than giving these empty threats.

A team of officers on our plane told my cousin, “Sir, we are scared. We heard that these rebels have Medium Machine Guns (MMG’s).” My cousin replied, “ Do not worry boys and girls, we are well armed. They don’t even know how to fight. They cannot aim a gun either, so stay calm. You see them, just shoot.” These words were so powerful that all of us suddenly found a lot of confidence which we never found. Something that secretly worried me during the counter-terror operation was that the Chinese Navy was sent to assist in the situation and a contingent of the Pakistan Army was also there. It was a little confusing about whom we had to actually fight. We were afraid that they would turn our backs on us, the Indian Forces. I had killed many of their counterparts during operations in North-East India and Kashmir state and was worried that they may recognize me and a fight would start. However, the event was different so see it.

We were en-route our destination, I started putting up a plan. The plan was that, my team comprising expert parachute gliders, would drop on the Amilcar Cabral International Airport and encounter rebels there. My cousin’s team that comprised expert swimmers was to land in the waters, and swim to the slightly isolated islands and take down rebels from there. Our new inspector, with his team of officers and also the Ninja Commandos of the Indian Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was to get to the resorts where these rebels had held hostages.

Having assigned the right people for the right jobs, we decided that we would definitely liberate the country off of the rebels and that all the civilians could continue enjoying happily.

When we landed at the runway of the airport, we saw a few trucks of rebels armed with MMG’s fire at us. However, our team armed with SCAR L Assault Rifles, took them down with only one bullet each. We scampered around the runway, taking suitable vantage positions, thus taking down a few rebels who came out to reinforce their counterparts. That effort was fruitful, and our next priority was to break into the airport building and save hostages.

It was slightly challenging as we had to locate the hostages and then carefully take down the rebels. A rebel had shut down the power systems inside the hospital and thus it was quite dark. However, armed with our thermal and infrared gear, we were good. We located 6 hostage clusters, each containing 6 hostages, located in such a way that there were 2 rebels for every 6 hostages. This meant that there were 18 rebels. My team of 26 officers, withdrew our Dragonov Sniper Rifles and Heckler and Koch PSG 1 Sniper Rifles and locked all targets. When we had all targets locked in, we shot their heads, simultaneously breaching the doors to get inside.

There was intense screaming and fear, but we Indian Forces had set the airport free. We found a few Improvised Explosive Devices (IED’s) which were deactivated by removing their timer batteries. There were praises being showered on us, as we escorted the hostages out safely and made sure that everyone and everything was safe. We told the airport security that a convoy of the Indian Army will temporarily safeguard the airport and that a team of Indian Garud Commandos would be stationed in the runway of the airport. We also established contacts with respective authorities, asking for air marshalls to be appointed on all flights flying out. Having done all these things, we came outside the airport into the entrance. It was for the first time in my life that I had entered from the runway and come out from the entrance in such a way.

Now that things were arranged, we decided to help our team in securing other locations. We got into our Ashok Leyland branded armoured vehicle, which was dropped on the road. The strategy was that an Ilyushin IL-76 had brought the vehicle and our newly issued chinooks would move it from the airport runway to the road. The vehicle would take us to the location where the others were operating. Just as our vehicle proceeded, we saw a set of broken barricades, with a few heavily injured police officers on the ground. My team immediately lifted them into our armoured vehicle and asked them what happened. My team gave them painkillers such as Morphine and asked them how it all happened.
They told that a team of rebels on a stolen truck tried to get past the barricades, when these officers fired on them. They tried their best to stop the rebel truck but they were sadly run over. The officer kept telling me, “Sir don’t let them go, let us catch them, we will come with you. Just refill my AK-47 and we will all catch them, thank you sir”.

I established contact with my cousin who told that a helicopter would be dispatched to airlift them. The helicopter came soon and these 4 officers were transported to the hospital. We got the news next day that all officers survived, despite suffering multiple fractures. A politician friend of ours, heard about this situation and decided to personally pay for their treatments. We were happy and thanked him. However he said that it was no problem and that all of us should join hands to fight terrorism.

We decided to reach the luxury resorts, where some rebels had set fire. They were trying their best to stop us. However, a fire wing of the Indian CISF put out the fire from a helicopter mounted water cannon and let the forces advance. My cousin told that he would enter from the roof, while I should enter from the entrance itself. He told that our inspector should give cover fire when we enter.

My team entered the building and started to receive fire from all directions. My cousin told me over the satellite phone, “Don’t advance now, keep them distracted. Let them empty their MMG’s, then we will take over.” I did as he told me to and thus we climbed the stairs and took every rebel by surprise. Our silenced rifles were not heard and thus we were successful. Suddenly, 2 rebels were shot down simultaneously and my cousin and I were face to face, holding our IWI Carmel and SCAR L rifles respectively.

I apologized and told that the area is clear. He told me “No worries kid, and, small place with few rebels only. We will finish it.”

Let us catch up in part 2 (Anti-Aircraft weapons versus SMG’s)

The Restoring Force Is Equal :- (Part – 3)

After crushing this particular rebel group, which was rated one of the deadliest in the top 10 list, we proved that these rebels had no courage to pick up a real fight unless their opponents were unarmed civilians and people. Even if the villagers picked up their hunting shotguns, they would take a step back.

We knew that these rebels had lost hope in major cities such as Abuja and Lagos. Their major source of money was extortion and drug distribution. However, with increased UN rehabilitation programs and strict military patrol from military members of other countries, the funding was going down. Besides, we had security forces posted at all shops selling clocks, powerful batteries, and other material that could be used for explosive making. Thus, their most common attack method of using Explosives would never be implementable so easily.

With confiscated weapons and abolition of illegal armament trades, this deadly rebel group had nowhere to go. Yes, like we expected they decided to attack a UN supported village at the Nigeria-Cameroon border.

However, as usual we were a step ahead of them. We had already gotten into the village and told the locals about everything. Surprising, but useful to us the villagers had studied the movements of rebel vehicles and told that Rebels this side use Light Machine Guns and RPG’s.

Well, this was absolutely no problem to us. We were well trained and far more superior to the rebels in terms of both, personnel and weapons. The next day, when a rebel truck pulled in to the village, it was shot by my cousin’s RPG. The new inspector of our team was a good Sniper and using a Heckler and Koch PSG 1 Sniper Rifle, he took town all the rebels wielding RPG’s and Light Machine Guns. He was further assisted by other members of the Indian Forces who were also taking down potentially dangerous targets with Sniper Rifles.

I was waiting there armed with my IWI Negev Light Machine Gun, while most of the ITBP officials were armed with SCAR-L and SCAR-H and M4 Carbine Assault Rifles. Some CRPF officials had handheld Multi-Grenade-Launchers in their hands and had fixed Browning Heavy Machine Guns. The CISF officials had their AK-47, AK-203, AK-103 Assault  Rifles. The Assault Rifle wielding frontline Assault Teams were assisted by Recon Teams wielding Sub-Machine-Guns such as SIG-MPX and Heckler and Koch MP5.

We had Ghatak Commandos, PARA SF and Gurkha regiment at the front lines assisted by the Garud Commandos and Marine Commandos. This was further assisted by other military and paramilitary forces.

This huge convoy was going to give a crushing defeat to the rebel group who thought that their undaunted progression to other places was unstoppable. When they saw our convoy, they did not even attempt to fire. Seeing the dreaded Ghatak Commandos give a single look scared these rebels and made them surrender.

There were around 50 remaining rebels, across 4 trucks. When I asked my cousin if I should let them surrender, he told.

“Do not even think of letting them stay alive you fool. Is that even your mission? “

” Instead of making these useless rebels sit in prison and feed them high value nutritious  food, it is better to finish them off with 3 RPG-7 Rockets, each worth 400 dollars”

” A month’s stay in prison costs atleast 2000 dollars of expenditure per prisoner. We should not waste money and resources on these ruthless rebels who are never willing to change and enjoy seeing the deaths and sufferings  of innocent people.”

I tried to convince my cousin, but he replied.

” No if’s and but’s, I order you to finish them off and nothing more.”

But I had another plan. Why not finish them off for free. Most of the rebels had suicide vests that could be blown up by the detonators confiscated from our first raid. So we moved the rebels to an empty location on the pretext of giving them something. When they fell for the trick and went near a stolen petroleum tanker that they had stolen for fuel, I decided to activate the detonator and boom, all rebels were destroyed free of cost!

We were able to destroy yet another huge rebel group and had no casualties under our responsibility nor was any member of any country’s armed forces harmed in this operation.

My cousin celebrated the moment and we had a party in the base camp with all the military officers of all the 4 countries.

Okay, the time for our attending our family reunion had come. Having made sure that the seperated family members (hostages) were reunited, we returned to our respective countries and respective hometowns for the family reunions.

I want to conclude the story with an important message that the armed forces give. The rebels may be in thousand or tens thousands or even hundred thousands. They may have more strength by the virtue of their personnel and weapons. Yes, this works against a group of unarmed civilians. However these things are nothing before fierce, disciplined and rigourous soldiers and police officers who even being ten to hundred times less in number can take you down as easily as a cat will eat a snail. The message we armed forces have for you rebels is that “If you legitimately want something that is valid and reasonable, then drop your weapons surrender to us and talk to the government and military. That’s it”

HOWEVER, THE NAMES AND FACTS ABOUT THE ARMED FORCES IS TRUE.

The Restoring Force Is Equal :- (Part-2)

We had infiltrated the most strategic and important hideout location of the rebels and had taken possession of the area. We had access to their planning papers and lethal weapons, and most importantly their explosive detonators. They had fallen into their own trap and were going to get killed in the funniest manner possible.

We had the International School and other important attack locations secured by Indian Military Forces. The UK Forces were right around the corner, ready to give any support needed.

The hideout area was surrounded on all sides by special forces. The UK and French special forces had the North side and West side covered, by Miniguns, Heavy-Machine-Guns and Mounted grenade and rocket launchers. The USA and Indian forces had surrounded the South side and the East side.Predator Drones and Apache Helicopters were patrolling the area and ready to fire on any rebels and waiting for movement.

We then got the notice that a Mercedes AMG off-road vehicle had entered and was followed by 5 to 6 Mitsubishi Fuso transport trucks. We knew that they were rebels, because nobody else would be entering that area other than them. Just as we saw that, we saw that another 10 trucks came. 4 Toyota Hilux trucks came. What was surprising was that when the convoy entered to the hideout, only 2 of the Toyota Hilux trucks followed, while the other 2 turned back and went towards the main road.

However, Indian Forces had set a blockade on the highway and just as the 2 Toyota Hilux trucks tried to bash their ways through the barricades, their tires were shot. Indian forces fired an RPG that caused almost all the rebel members to die. One of them tried to get out and shoot his Colt 45 handgun but he was taken down by a Gurkha soldier who pulled the gun out of hand and stabbed him with the Khukri dagger. It was surprising as to how this deadly seeming rebel group was being taken down without the use of guns.

Back at the hideout area, things were getting better. How? Well just as 16 trucks with a lot of rebels came, Another 64 trucks came. This attack seemed to be getting big. Just as another 10 trucks came, we took it upon ourselves to blow up the explosives. The commanders and chiefs of the rebel group had been killed. The tripwire explosives planted by these rebels were napalm bearing metal container RDX explosives. They triggered maximum damage. Some rebels tried to run with their burnt bodies but they were taken down by the armed forces who were stationed nearby, outside the explosion radius but near enough to attack the rebels.

With so many rebels down and the commanding officers down, it was evident that the iron spine of the rebel group was proving to be no more than a brittle rusted spine!

Even a group of backup reinforcements who taught that they could merely ‘help their counterparts’ in attacking the International school were totally shocked to see the armed forces. When they tried to lift up their AK-56 rifles, they were put down by the SIG-Sauer716 Assault Rifles wielded by the ITBP officers in the location. Little did they know that our convoy of the Ghatak Commandos, PARA SF Commandos and  Gurkha Regiment had already attacked the rebels before they even left their hideout.

Okay, what do you expect from these cowards? These so called ‘strong’ rebels? Yes, they are strong against a group of unarmed civilians, but the armed forces of the world can easily kick these rebels without any problem. These overacting street cats try to show themselves as tigers, but against a group of real tigers, i.e. Our armed forces, they cannot even dream of fighting.

Cool. We will see more, in part 3. Let us see them take down a village in the Nigeria-Cameroon border where they attempt to show their ‘glorious potential’. But will they succeed? We will see, but you know the answer already.
